We're Samir and Diksha — a couple raising two kids while building financial freedom through real estate. Our journey started over a decade ago, navigating confusing processes, poor agents, and hidden fees. Every mistake became a lesson — and every lesson shaped how we invest today.
In Dubai, we’ve been able to spot high-cashflow properties, use smart bank financing, earn strong capital gains, and nearly double our invested capital in just two years. We didn’t get there overnight — it took strategy, data, and relentless curiosity.
These days, we don’t rely on sales talk or agent hype — we let the data lead. For every deal, we define a clear entry point (price, location, timing), remove emotions from the equation, and focus on high-yield potential. We optimize for rental income, buy with leverage to grow equity, and target buildings with room for capital appreciation.
After acquiring 7 properties across Dubai, the US, and France — and running fully booked short-term rentals — we realized most investors were flying blind. That’s why we created The Makan Academy: a hub of data tools, real estate analytics, and honest guidance through our consulting and course content.
